OUR HEART:
To inspire and equip the Church into a deeper relationship with God, embracing their identity in Christ with the truth of the gospel, in order to live in the freedom of Christ - using various mediums of arts and crafts in the process.
body history
Our environment and genetics have formed our thoughts, habits and focus from the time we were born until now.
Stress, joy and life circumstances form our body’s response, releasing good hormones like oxytocin (aids in relational bonding) and dopamine (gives feeling and pleasure) along with cortisol (releases when we are in stressed).
Our body decides what is released throughout the day and continues to produce them as needed (sometimes in an abundance), which impacts our emotions, health and overall well being.
Generational make up - upbringing, sin, curses, genetics - impact our bodies physically, emotionally and spiritually, which work for or against us.
good news
The good news is that humans are beautiful creatures with a brain and body like no other being on planet earth.
God designed it to experience emotions and chemical reactions to accompany them, along with the power of scripture, worship and prayer.
Our brains have the ability to change and rewire themselves, as we change our thinking or habits.
As ski slopes get deeper and easier to go down and more skiers use the same path, our brain creates these same sort of pathways. When we focus on the truth of God’s word and the gift of the Holy spirit, change is inevitable with time and repetition.
With simple practices that evoke our senses and focus on the truths of scripture, we can rewire our brains while calming our body, mind and spirit to live as God intended - an abundant life.
Praying you come into a deeper understanding of God and yourself as we gather together in creativity and God’s word.
