Looking at Colossians 4:2 and 1 Peter 5:8-9, we talk about the importance of being watchful in prayer and resisting tempation.
Challenge: Do you know what you are tempted by? How do you stand your ground? Be in prayer this week about it.
Are there certain areas you address in your prayer life or physical stances you must conform to? This week we view prayer from the lens of 1 Tim 2:1 and briefly discuss what that may entail.
Challenge:
+ If there is extra biblical things you have believed you must engage in to pray (i.e. kneeling, closing your eyes, folding your hands, reciting written prayer), try it without them, focusing on being in the presence of God rather than your stance.
